Carole is an Economics PhD candidate at Georgetown University. Her research focuses primarily on labor economics, particularly on the equilibrium theories of unemployment. Her dissertation examines labor market policies in the UAE in the presence of search frictions. Carole received a B.A. in Economics from the American University of Beirut in 2003 and previously worked for the Dubai Economic Council, a government research body in Dubai, UAE.
